Because I feel like it and I've been thinking of things

I am bored right now so here I am. It's been a while since I blogged. I've never been the kind of person that can maintain a diary or a journal. I get bored quickly.

But on a side note, as of today I've been quite entertained reading The Anonymous Production Assistant's blog. It's interesting to hear about what my life after college will probably be like. I'm not the kind of person to read blogs (outside of my friends' but most of them hardly do so as far as I know) but I enjoy this one. It's nice to read it and know what he's talking about a bit, especially when he mentions a show or a film theory. It makes me both excited and terrified for life after college. I know it's going to be hard and time consuming, whether I'm on a job or job searching. And I'm coming to terms with the fact that I will probably have to live in LA for the next few decades, hopefully get to live in NYC for sometime at least. I will also be needing to get a car by the time I graduate from college and very possibly before next summer, when I'll hopefully be interning, which means I'll be suck in LA.

So I guess what I'm realizing is this will be the last summer before I have to I'm really going to immersed in that world and my life in Daly City will be becoming more and more of just my hometown where I go to visit instead of live. I'll be seeing less and less of my families and friends here, which makes me very sad, but this is the career I choose and I have to at least try it out for a couple of years.

I haven't blogged in FOREVER and yet I suspect this will be a short post.

So yeah, life. Got 3 weeks of class left and then about a week and a half of study break/exam and then I go home. Might be an usher for Commencement for the School of Theatre. If I do then I'll be staying in LA for an extra two or three days. Actually, would be cool if the 480 screenings were before then so I could actually go watch them this semester. that would be awesome.

I'm registering for classes on Friday. Can't wait for next semester. Gonna take 290 which means I'm gonna make 5 short films in the span of one semester, 4 individual ones and 1 group work. Can't wait. Gonna be soooo busy but should be fun. Also gonna take a photography class, black&white film. See if I want to get a photography minor maybe.

Oh right also this friday gonna give Kristina a smoking burn make up. that should also be fun. I've done injury, cadaver, meth addict and fantasy makeup so far. Will do some editing for Platforum on thursday. Got hw to do which I should be doing now. I want classes to end but don't want to deal with all the stuff that's due before they finish.

hmm saw the SOT production of Into The Woods last friday. I liked it. Urinetown was better but this one was good too. Then went to watch Second Nature (improv group) like usual. It was the Alum show. Hilarious. THen on Saturday we went to watch T-pain perform. That was cool too.

and that's about it for now. really should go back to reading.
