Been A Long Time

Sorry guys. I haven't been keeping up with this blog at all. It's not that stuff has not happened but eh too lazy or not enough time to blog. I'll try to get back into it a bit again but no promises. At least once a week right? Well until then. I just felt like I needed to get a new post up. I'll try to start again after going back to USC in Jan. 'til then.

Wow, So Long

I haven't blogged in forever! So yea, Last last saturday I had breakfast with Nataliya and then we went to walgreens. After that I talked to Nat via iChat and then had a two and a half hour nap. I tried to do some homework and then ended up going with like 17 to eat at Mel's Dinner on sunset Blvd. Crazy car ride. Four of us in the backseat and one person in the trunk. Plus we were supposed to go to another place first but it looked kinda sketchy so the people in the other cars changed their mind and if we hadn't called them we may have never known. But then it took them a while to pick where else to go and get the direction, so we turned back only to have to turn around again and were the last ones there. But it was cool. I got to sit near Colin and Nataliya and we drew on the back of the little table cover thingie. then we came back and watched Rocky Horror Picture Show. great fun. Sunday was more chill. Did homework and studied for Cinema midterm. Ani and Analice stopped by and brought me goodies. ended up watching singin' in the rain again that night. Monday was good, nothing in particular comes to mind.
On tuesday I had my ARLT (fan class) midterm. hopefully that went well. Then had dinner with Genevieve and Leslie and studied for cinema. we stayed in the lounge going over stuff with more people until 12. we all wanted to get a good night's sleep before the test. It was cool cuz someone from the tuesday class gave us their questions so we got a look at what kind of questions Casper gave even though we knew ours would have different questions. Still it helped us study cuz we knew what he wouldn't ask us. the test itself wasn't that bad. I think i passed hopefully. After that we watched Our Lady Eve which was a great movie to watch right after taking a test. then i went to eat with Ani which was a lot of fun. then stayed up until 2ish in the morning talking about zombies. it was great.

thursday was normal. we ended up watching Cats Don't Dance and Rock A Doodle in the lounge. that was fun. on friday nothing much happened. end up checking out the this one house at the ROW that was decorated for Halloween but we couldn't get in, too many people. oh right We watched WALL-E outside in the quad, this grassy area near my dorm. that was fun. then we were gonna watch a movie in the lounge but they had put the heaters on and it was burning the dust so it stank. watched newises (sp?) in Kelsie's room instead. then did the row stuff with Nataliya and Angela.

now this saturday I had breakfast with Nataliya and Brieona. (and then sunday too) Went to goodwill with Nataliya for costumes. Didn't really find anything. Studied and then went to our little pre-halloween celebration. Had a costume contest sort of. I dressed up in all black and was the "poet/artist" type. xD was fun. then we went on a spiderwalk (like the butterfly walk at Marine World only with spiders) It was hilarious. Then we watched the Orphanage (loved it!). Haley kept screaming made it all the better. then they put the exorcist but I left at that point. Watched some SNL with Angela and Logan. went to brush my teeth and then the fire alarm went off. great fun. On sunday mostly studied and did some groceries shopping. today did pretty much the sam. Had the written portion of my japanese midterm. think it went well. think friday's oral part went well too. Tomorrow got my Geology Midterm (last one yay!) and then i'm done.

Premiere, And More Drinking.

So yeah, like i said before. Monday was boring. Tuesday was ok. I worked on my paper. Wednesday was better. I had dinner with people from my dorm after Cinema class. Then I finished my term paper. I was such an idiot. I was writing it in 1.5 space the whole time until page 5 (and I needed 6 pages) before I realized and switched it to double space. So I wrote more than the minimum. turned that in, though I missed seeing Scream because of it. sadness. Thursday was cool. Ended up watching Reboot (rememeber that show?) with people from the dorm on Colin's tv. that was fun. then people from the dorm went to watch Max Payne midnight show. I didn't go but instead I went with Leslie and Nataliya to the Row and danced, took a few sips of their drinks and talked about our crushes. Hella funny. then came back and chatted with Genevieve, Kerrington, and Carter about making the lounge a haunted house like thing. fun. went to bed at 3:30am.

Yay Ani's visiting me this coming wed! woot. But aww too many midterms (2) next week too. I am scared for Cinema midterm.

oh! and I am now a film student (well officially starting next semester). I am now a Critical Studies major. I'm still planning on re-applying to Production but this is a great backup incase I don't get it. and I didn't even have to apply. They called me and were like "You wanna be a Critical Studies Major?". duh. so coolies there.

Oh and on a love note. I talk to Colin more than I used to, but I don't think he likes me. Also don't think anything will happen but eh it's fun to have a crush. Oh and I think it's dying down. Way pass that exciting new crush phase. Plus there are two really cute dudes in my Geology lab. :P

Mondays are Boring

They are. It's so boring right now. Nothing's happening. Well yeah. Mondays suck.

And here I am procrastinating. Nothing much has happened this weekend. Just slowly recovering from the plague and procrastinating from my paper. nothing really to report, just that...

Down with the Sickness

There;s been a gastrointestinal virus going around campus since last friday and I had been so good that I hadn't caught it and them suddenly yesterday morning! I got sick. ;-; I was doing so well. So I woke up to diarrhea. I went to the bathroom about 4-5 times in less than 40 minutes. then I went back to sleep and woke up about 2 hours later and had to puke. after that it was mostly stomach cramps. Still had some today. Had to email all my teachers that i wouldn't be able to go to class. Now I gotta go to the health center to get cleared that I don't have the virus anymore. will probably do that tomorrow. I am now part of a wikipedia statistic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norovirus

but anways. missing class sucks. especially since i actually talk to Colin after thursday class. Though I guess talking to him on wednesday after class made up for that. and I saw him a bit today on the way to the bathroom. ugh. so yea.

Last friday we finished the movie, and on monday we got to see the final cut. it was pretty nice. I spent my last weekend writing my paper for cinema which was horrible. i am so ashamed of that paper i swear. on wednesday night i watched Virgin Suicides with genevieve and angela. that was fun.

well that's about it i guess.

So yeah, drinking...

OK for the first time ever I drank yesterday. Let me tell you how this came about:

so last night we (basically Genevieve and I followed ) didn't know what to do. At first we thought to watch 12 angry men with Eddie and possibly people in the lounge. then we ended up in angela's room with her and then issac for a while. We got bored and decided to go take a walk outside (it's like 9? 10? at this point) It takes us a while to get out of the dorm at which point we are joined by Jay and Leslie. So we walk around a bit and then go back to the dorm. We decide to go to the Row (the frat and sori houses). So it takes us a while to figure out where we're going, who's going and then get ready because Leslie, Genevieve and now also Kathrina had to put on makeup. So we end up going at like 11. We wait for Leslie's friends who end up not coming and then once we get there Jay goes back cuz apparently they don't let non-frat guys in. So the four girls end up going. Now here they got some jolly ranchers vodka shots. I took a sip, and hated it. then Genevieve got a sprite/vodka drink which was a little better but still, yuck. So I don't like alcohol. We danced and end up going back to the dorm at 1. We made it fine.

then this morning i had to get up at 7 to go help out with the movie we're making again at 8. that was fun this morning. Hilarious. then i had work and class and now i shall go get some food cuz i'm hungry.

Making Movies

So this weekend was pretty chill. We saw terminator one and two in the lounge. I already told you about friday. Sunday I did laundry and some grocery shopping. Monday I had class which was funny in japanese with everyone trying to remember what we were supposed to have memorized for the class. then the afternoon was kinda boring. ended up seeing a really bad movie with people from the floor. (UHF anyone? that weird al movie. it was Colin's).

then yesterday was fun. Well first I was late to work cuz i was taking a nap and I didn't hear my phone go off to wake me up so I woke up at 3:57 and i had to be at work at 4. so then after work I come back to the dorm and Help Leslie and Kevin out with the student film they're making. Basically all I do is hold the marker thing and say scene blah take blah. but I get to watch the whole filming process which is fun and I might be an extra on friday. OK filming was hilarious. after that we went to get milkshakes. then i did my hw and hung out with Genevieve and Nataliya and we talked about boys and stuff. Great day. Oh and Colin missed Japanese again today. xD He can't seem to wake up on tuesday. it's funny.

Today was chill. Had class (Colin showed up on time) went to work. got off early so got to eat actual lunch before class. Class was ok. Saw "Straw Dogs". It was ok. then ate with genevieve and did hw. Dunno what's gonna happen tonight. Might go clubbing on friday. who knows?

Eagle Eye and Denny's

So last night I watched Part of American Beauty, then saw improve. After that we went to the UV (university village), and there's a movie theater there so we watched Eagle Eye. It sucked, but everyone's reaction to it was hilarious. They couldn't stop making fun of the movie. Don't go watch it. So after that (it's like 2 in the morning at this point) we go to Denny's which is also at the UV. I just get a hot chocolate cuz i don't like eating late at night. We went right on making fun of the movie. it was a good night. By the time we get back to the dorm it's almost 4. We get back and see that some idiot busted a window and there's glass outside on the pavement. It was from our floor too but not the cinema part. Some idiot kicked the window and his foot was bleeding.We go up and see glass with blood on the floor. so then we go to bed after that. that was my night.

Oh by the way, there's a movie festival going on soon and I'm helping people make a short clip which is HILARIOUS so i'll be an extra and might help out with some editing and stuff. Fun. I'll tell you guys more about it later once we make it an stuff.

stuff and last night

ok I know I should have updated a while ago but bare with me.

for all those who haven't seen already. the guy I like is here (Colin.) He's wearing red and is carrying speakers in the second vid?

ok so yea I forgot when I filmed that but not too long ago. I passed my first japanese midterm with an A and I still don't know how my Geology midterm went but hopefully i passed! I watched singin in the rain on wednesday (this wed) and it was great! the wed. before we were talking about color in movie and how it makes meaning and Casper (the prof) picked a guy to randomly pick people based on their clothing color and say who was the protaganist based on the colors. those people the guy picked had to go stand in the front and the dude picked me as one of them. that sucked but it was funny. nothing else interesting has happened in class that I can recall. Oh last tuesday (not the one that just passed) Colin didn't show up to Japanese class. So that day I didn't think i was gonna see him in the morning. I had my pronounciation clinic for japanese that day and i thought it would be funny if his was right before mine and guess what! he did. so i saw him. After my clinic was over I visited him in his room and asked why he didn't show up for class and it was because his alarm didn't go off. and this past tuesday he was 20mins late. but he was on the next 2 days and on Thurs I walked with him back to the dorm and there wasn't any awkward silence. woot. but i didn't tell him that I liked him sadly. so then the day was pretty normal. at master's dinner the guys were trying to fit through this small space between a wall and a column. no suck luck. so then it was night...

man last night was eventful. Ok so first I went to watch the Office with these kids from my dorm @ 9 and that ended @ 10. then I played brawl with the guys til like 11:30. I got ready for bed and couldn't get the courage to go to Colin's room and tell him I like him. So getting ready for bed Nataliya calls me and we decide to hang out. this was at 11:30ish. So we go to the 2nd floor (i'm on the 3rd). on the way there Simon (our floor rep). tells us to not go get in a trouble and not stay out too late. He's really sweet. so we promise and then go to Nataliya's room. she reads tarot card and so read some for me. My question was whether I could get the courage to tell Colin that I like him. the cards read that it's very hard for me and that my biggest wall is that I think that the guys should make the first move so that's stopping me. They also said I will get hurt from doing so but it's good experience for me. so yea then we talked about boys and then a kid from the 2nd floor, ANdrew (like the 4th andrew that I've met here and they're all in my building) comes join us and he's drunk. But he's not a bad drunk. he was ok to hang out with. we play with Nataliya's guitar and then decide to step outside the building for a minute to then go tell Simon that we were bad and went outside. we did so. then went to the 3rd floor and Simon was sleeping ;-;. so then I go to my room to try to go to bed. I think it was 1 am by then. so I cant sleep. Finally get the courage to walk out my room and go to Colin's. I was soooo gonna do it too. I walk out and then there are people sitting in the hall and I end up telling Genevieve that Nataliya has tarot cards and reads them, so I HAVE to take her to Nataliya's room and On the way I see that Colin has his door closed ;-;. no such luck. so we go, gen gets her cards read. then we come back up and genevieve has all her keys but her rooms key. and then her roommate Collete(sp?) is drunk and throwing up in the bathroom and she doesn't have her key either. so we have to go to the lobby to get an extra key and I'm not wearing any shoes or socks! so we have to go help a bit and go to the bathroom and my bear feet touch the wet bathroom floor yuck!! ewww! Dx. but then I finally go to bed @2am. and that was my night. and I never got to tell COlin i like him ;-;. fuck. i was soooooo gonna do it then too. Dx no luck. it's like fate is against me. even though she keeps putting him in front of me.

oh right last friday we went to watch improv and i sat next to him and got to play with his hair. sweet. and then on wed. night i watched a movie with people (this korean movie that mtv had dubbed with rap artist. Volcano High, remember that?) and i got to sit next to him for that too. Oh and when I watched misery I sat next to him too and we got 4 in the sofa so when the girls started screaming and stuff i kept getting push on to him. happy. xD

i love my titles. hella creative. :P

So later that same friday i last posted on, I ended up hanging out with Nathalie and Maria. At first we just hung around the hall, then bursted into dancing. We tried to watch some animated shorts with people in the lounge but got bored and so ventured out. We ended up in Maria's room after a short time ouside, and looked at pictures of dudes that Maria knew from back home.

Saturday was ok. I ended up having breakfast with Genevieve and Leslie and Kevin down at EVK instead of my room. Then I may have done some hw? I did laundry during the game and watched Harold and Maude. Then when she got back I hung out with Genevieve and Angela and Angela's home friend Gaby. After going out of the builiding and then coming back a few times, Genevieve went to talk on the phone in her room and the three of us ended up playing card games with people in the lounge and watching "Top Secret" i think it was called. After that we played one more card game before calling it quits.

on Sunday I did my hw in the morning, went to eat with Nathalie and then had Archery which was once again cool. I hit three balloons woot. But i felt like my aim was better last week, but then again i had longer arrows this week which was a little weird cuz it made me have to aim way lower than i thought i had to to get a good shot. When I came back I ended up watching Misery in the lounge, which was hilarious. there were a lot of girls in that room so at the climax there was a lot of screaming which I found hella funny. I was sitting next to Colin during the movie too, so that kinda rocked. Then I watched one scene from Moulin Rouge and then went to bed.

today has been ok. had japanese and then worked and then cinema discussion. Had lunch with genevieve and a guy from our floor whose name is... Kyja? i dunno how it's written and it;s the first time i've heard it so yea. We sat with Natalia for a while until she had to leave for class. then we came back and passed by a room with the guys I usually see in the lounge (it was a sausage fest :P) playing wii. I wanted to play too but alas hw. I feel like I had a stomach ache a little while ago but i think it passed. Now i'm just bored waiting to find something to do.

on a side note, I've been contemplating on whether or not to tell Colin that I like him. it may make things weird but it's not like we're best buds or anything. i dunno. more on that later.

Eh been a while

Sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I would have liked to. Um well I've watched a lot of movies since being here. it's like an every other day kind of thing. I've been playing some card games and such.

Ok last friday I hung out with Genevieve and we wandered around looking for something to do. We end up in the lounge trying to watch Hot Fuzz with a bunch of guys but we can't get the projector so we try using Colin's tv but it's not that loud. Since it was bootlegged we couldn't get subtitles so we tried hooking up speakers but that didn't go so well. By the time we started watching the movie, me and Genevieve left to go watch the improv show (this was at 11pm). Andrew ended up coming with us. it was funny. So we go back, they've finished the movie so we play card games til 2 in the morning. I slept in on saturday, did laundry and that was about it.

On sunday I hung out with Colin, Jay, and Natalia in the morning. again we played cards after having brunch and playing with the squirels and listeing to Colin and Jay play on the piano. After that did my hw and then went to archery which was a LOT of fun. I didn't completely suck. So that was pretty much it for sunday.

monday i had class and work. At night I watched this anime movie that I had never seen before. It was nice, It was colin's. Poor colin though. he waited people to take it seriously and really enjoy it but everyone just cracked jokes the whole movie. oh but before we watched the movie Tom, this guy from belgium on our floor, was playing the cello. so cool.

On tuesday again class and work, and then we watched Amelie. I understood the whole movie this time watch it with ENGLISH subtitles. it was great. Though Tom started talking during the movie at one point and Colin was sooo into it that he got pissed and told him to shut the fuck up. it was funny. sucky part was that we couldn't get the projector again but we got better speakers and we were reading subtitles so it was ok.

on wednesday i worked and had class. wer'e getting another student worker and on somedays we're gonna overlap so that's cool. OMG we have a cart that my boss drives so we can go pick up things that are on the other side of campus. on wed however someone had taken the one we usually use so we had to take another one and that one was freakin scary. it had no seatbelt and was a bumpy ride. and that's nothing really to stop me from falling off to the side so i hung on for dear life. Intro to Cinema was cool. The movie we watched this time (The Verdict) was eh ok. Too slow, draggy and energry-less for me and most of the people I know. Except Colin who LOVED the film and woundn't shut up about it. later that night I played a world game kinda like scrabble called banana split with people. It was fun. then we wanted to watch something but alast no projector again. So Colin got his TV and put Teenage Mutent Ninja Turtles 2 (he does this everytime we don't know what to watch.) so we end up watching that until it's about time to go watch the improv show. We all go except Colin who stays back to watch his movie by himself. I felt so bad. the show was cool though.

as for thursday. japanese was good. I didn't have class for crisis of a planet so had hella time between japanese and my fan class in which i should have done hw but ended up watching the Sarah Conner Chronicles. and stuff. work was good and calm. Played a game of Smash Bros on 64. I SUCK at it. then I stuck around and watched Leon the Professional which was good.

today i worked and went to class of course. then I hung out with Jocelyn. we went to eat and then went to the University Village to buy a deck of cards but alas the only ones we found had either poker chips or die and i didn't want anything but the cards so didnt get them. We stuck around the McCarthy Quad and listened to the band perform. that was cool and that's all i've done today.

Last few days

Ok so on Sunday it was movie night. The movie was The Host. So I went with some female friends but in the end all the girls left and I was the only one left but I really wanted to watch the movie so I watched it with a bunch of guys which was really funny. At first we couldn't change it from dub to sub for like the first 20mins of the movie. Then the males RA comes and fixes it with the remote that we didn't have. At the end of the movie there were some fireworks going off outside so we went to the window and kinda missed the end of the movie but it was ok.

When the movie ended i went back to my room and my roomie and her female friends were all huddled in a corner, felt all secretive and shit. I felt awkward. Then I heard smash bros from the lounge area where we watched the movie and I went to check it out and got to play some Brawl. it was tight.

So on monday I just did some hw and nothing else really so not much to say about that. Moving on to today. I went to japanese like always and then my geology class. After class I met up with Genevieve at Cafe 84. it was funny we kept missing each other. We had burgers and the lady gave me a LOT of fries. Good lunch. then i had my fanatic class which was short. we ended hella early. Which was cool. Gave me some time to rest before going to my first day at work. It was ok. I gotta go get my social security card fixed tomorrow though cuz my name is messed up on it. Then i did some hw and ended up getting sidetracked into watching some Extras (british show) with some cinema floor people. it was funny but i didn't stay long cuz tomorrow is gonna be a long day so I wanna get some sleep.

Ok now on to the lovely stuff. I kinda like the random guy i kept seeing everywhere. He;s really dorky cute. I mean while we were playing brawl he was building a gundam model and and was so proud of it. xD But i don't really talk to him much. I dunno if i really like him or what but he;s cute for sure. I dunno. argh more on that later.

More College Randomness

Ok so on friday my room turned into a mini dance fest thingie. Some of it (the random theatrical end) got caught on tape and it's on my youtube right now (just sure for lakossita). So if you guys want you can check it out and see some of my dormmates. For you dudes there are some girls you can check out in it. Oh by the way, I didn't record any of it :P.

So later that night I ended up watching The Shining and the last half of the departed. The next night I watched both Kill Bill movies and I dunno what we're watching tonight but it should be fun. I'm just happy I didn't have nightmares after watching The Shining.

Well archery didn't go to well. I didn;t get to go today because there wasn't enough space in the cars to go. So instead I went with Jocelyn to the anime club and watched some series. it was fun. Besides that I have been lazy this weekend and have been trying to do hw to little success. Wish me luck. I start working on tuesday so I'm gonna need it.

Oh and about that guy in my last post. I saw him a few more times after that day but not as much as on thursday. I just hadn't noticed him before out of Japanese. yeah... maybe sometime later on I'll take pictures of people for all my losers lol.

College Part 2

Um, I'm sorry i haven't kept in touch with this blog in 6 days xD. Well last friday i went to my school's (Letters, Arts and Sciences) lunch thingie and got some free little speakers. Then i got some of my books. um I don't really remember much of the rest of the day, There was a foam party at night. I checked it out. The foam pit was really small and the line was HUGE. it was ok, I ended up going with some girls to their dorm to watch the olympics xD.

Saturday was chill I think. I hung out with some of my dormmates. We went to the mini carneval the school had, ate, and then went to the concert. Hello Goodbye and some other bands were playing. It was cool. I ended up near the front with Genevieve Laila. Last sunday I bought my books and then in the evening went to watch the comedy show with my roomie. It was funny. The guy from the Soup was there. and I think that was about it.

So I have Japanese class. My class is really small like only about 15 people there. SO i was the first one there on the first day for about a minute. I always get there before the teacher xD. Most of us do. Yesterday though I got there a minute or so too early and there was no one there so i wondered if the class had been cancelled or moved or something but then people started arriving. Other wise I like my japanese class. The Prof is cool. She uses plush toys and cute drawings to help explain things. She talks in Japanese to us half the time.

Then I have a geology class called crisis of a planet. The prof is cool. You can tell he likes what he does but he does kinda talk fast. that class is full though. probably around 200 people. Then I have a class on fanatics which is smaller around 20-ish people. It looks like it might be fun but I feel little in that class because it's mixed.

Lastly I have my intro to cinema class. Now the prof for that class is to say the least eccentric. He's definitely the "artist" type. He's kinda scary though. You don't wanna answer a question in that class unless you are super sure about the answer. Well the first half of the class is him lecturing and then he leaves and we watch a movie. This week we saw Sunset BLVD. It was cool. We have to read atonement by next wed though.

I got a job at the School of theatre's office. It seems like they;re really gonna put me to work and I start on tuesday. I hope i'm not overwhelmed. Wish me luck.

Stuff I've done: on Wed. i think it was I went with Genevieve to watch the Improv show at a cafe on campus. It was cool. Definitely laughed a lot. I went to the anime club. That was nice. We saw the first episode of 4 series. Eh there was only one maybe two that i might watch. The only thing that sucked is that i had to sit in the front row because when I got there with Jocelyn (a friend I made, not from my dorm) The place was packed. It wasn't the biggest room but there were at least 30+ people there. today I'm going to a meeting for Archery later on. I hope that goes well.

Last random comment. It's funny I kept meeting this one guy almost everywhere yesterday. He's in my japanese class, on my floor, he was at the building's student gov election dinner and sat at our table, and then I saw him again at the anime club later. It's like he;s everywhere. Random. well ok that's it for now. I'll try to report a little more often but It might just be a once a week thing.

College Part Uno

so yea for those who haven't figured it out yet i'm at USC right now. I'm sorry that i didn't get to hang out with everyone the week before I left but I'll be back for X-mas so don't worry. 

Anyways Tuesday night was crazy as we tried packing everything and the whole time my dad was like "it's not gonna fit". I said good bye to my brother that night since I wasn't gonna see him in the morning, and neither of us cried but Ani did so it was kinda funny. I went to bed at like 12:30ish and then woke up on Wed. at about 5 in the morning. I was half asleep as my parents and sister packed everything in the car and lo and behold it fit. woot! I slept most of the way only awake at bathroom spots and to eat mostly. I was awake for like the last 30 mins before arriving. it was crazy to get into the school and unload and then take everything up the stairs to my room on the 3rd floor cuz of course there are no elevators. My roomie and her parents we already here (this was at like 2:30 by the way), and she had her stuff set up. My roomie and her folks went to look around while my mom helped me make my bed and unload and stuff. We went to the bookstore to buy an ethernet cord cuz I took a really short one and it came no where close to reaching. After that my parents and sister left. we didn't cry much too tired for that. 

After that I set up my computer and stuff and organized a bit. we had a floor meeting and they gave us pizza to eat. I hung out with with my roomie Marielle and two other girls Laila and Genevieve. (i'm not sure i'm spelling their names correctly or not. ) We talked and then went to our rooms. Later we had our door open so these two guys Josh and Chris were going down the hall giving out candy and we got some and then went along to meet the people in our hallway. some people opened their doors others didn't. there was a big gathering of people in this one room but we didn't stay long since it was to hot in there. There was this one guy Dan who was locked out of his room already. poor guy. we found the laundry room and then went with Josh and Chris to a starbucks nearby before coming back to the room. Uh i think that was pretty much it for the day. oh right after the pizza I went with Lila and Genevive to find the gym and we got a little lost since it was kinda dark already. There were a lot of band kids practicing in different spots. We passed the same group about 3-5 times before we found our way. it was fun.

on thursday i bought some small posters to decorate my room and then went to a free lunch thing. it was fun. we had to do one of those human bingo things except we had to find someone for all the spots and one was "never flown on an airplane" which was the HARDEST thing to find. in the end there was some guy sitting on a bench nearby who had never flown on a plane before.  so yea that was fun. oh then later in the day out floor went together to watch this performance that had dancing, a short play, an excerpt from a independent movie, and other cool stuff like that. we all really wanted to watch it but half of our group didn't make it inside and those that did had to sit in the lobby like area and watch it on tv. that wasn't cool so we got up and left, got some frozen yogurt which was actually pretty good at Red Mango and then went back for the free food and stuff. We made sure to get the free stuff. while we ate the free food there was music and they played some indian music and this indian guys started dance. it was cool. we watched. then we went back to our rooms before going to see the Dive-in movie. It was at a pool so people could watch the movie while swimming  so it was ok. we couldn't really hear the movie(Ocean's 13)  over everyone talking though. We left and went to a cafe place on campus which was relatively empty. And then other girls from our floor said that Arnold Schwarzenegger and his daughter were here and that's she's moving into either our building or the one right next to us so yea. then I went to bed. all good.

An Old Memory

When I was little, all I wanted to be was a gymnast.

It started when I was 2 years old. I saw the 1992 summer olympics and LOVED gymnastics. My favorite was the uneven bars So when I was little I would be like a little monkey and grab on to anything that could act like a bar for me and swing on it. Probably why monkey bars were always my favorite thing on the playground. I was pretty good with them too. When the 1996 summer Olympics came around I still wanted to be a gymnast. I don't know when I stopped that dream. I played on monkey bars through 4th grade. I stopped at SBA. Bars weren't good and there were always puddles under. Plus one two so not enough for us to play on.

I think I remember looking through park and rec to see if i could take some gymnastics when I was little but we didn't know how to get in or have the money or means to get there so it never happened. So in the end all I was able to go was cart wheels and playing on bars. I think I almost learned how to do a handstand. Almost got it when I was in 3rd grade. Man If I had been able to start when I wanted (at around 2-3 years old) I may have been something.

Oh wells. The summer Olympics reminded me of this lately. I think the US passed in groups but it wasn't really their day. China was looking pretty good. The girls look so tiny. @.@ I can't believe they were 16.

Less than 3 Weeks

OK so I have less than 3 weeks before I gotta leave for LA. And I still have so much shit to get Dx!!! I still need to buy new clothes and buy stuff for my dorm room. We still have to figure out who's coming with me to drop me off. Whether we're leaving on the 19th or the 20th early in the morning. I still have to finish getting my loans and stuff. Time is passing by way too fast. ahhhh! But at least I don't have to worry about a fridge or a microwave. They come with the room xD. I still gotta put music in my laptop and put pictures. So much to do, so little time. -.-

But I know I have to go. I know LA's pretty far away but it's closer than New York right? Plus USC gave me a lot more money in financial aid than NYU did. I still have to work on getting into the film school and going away will be good for me. I've been sheltered for long enough. I need to see that I can take care of myself and grow up a bit. I'll be ok though. I've been told I'm a flexible person when it comes to getting along with people. And People who annoy me or I just don't like, I tend to ignore so it's all good. ^___^

Out Of It

I woke up very out of it today. I don't know why, but it feels like a day that I have to take slowly and mostly alone at home. Brother is sleeping right now. SIs went to take care of her best friend's sister's kid for a while. The folks are working, so I'm pretty much alone and I don't feel like doing much.

I finished Fruits Basket yesterday and now I have that empty feeling you get when you finish something. I feel tired even though I haven't done anything and I slept around 9 hours last night. I just feel very weird. The beginning of summer vacation seems so long ago now. But the summer has been fun. I'm still working on driving but I've gotten better.

Eh I can't think right now. That's all then.

Rawr

ok I haven't posted in a while... again. There really just isn't much going on right now. We've been going through tons of stuff and gotten rid of things. I've been working on my driving skills. Gotten a bit better. I've had random inspiration blast to make mini videos or write stories which die real fast. I will make that tea video though, this month too.

right now I feel very lazy and out of it. I finished a book in a day and a half. it was ok. a fun easy read. sleeping in late (well 10-11 maybe 12ish, that's late for me) so even if i go to bed early i can't fall asleep and my head just keeps going and going. and I think of random stuff, some sad stuff, some poetic stuff but nothing i ever write down because i forget about and i can't just turn on a light and write it down just then. i hate crying before falling asleep. and then my mind keeps racing until past 1 in the morning and then i wake up late again because i don't want to get up, after walking up at 5, 7, 9 and finally getting up around 10,11,12 again. this doesn't make me happy.

oh well i'm never gonna go a proper orientation blog post thingie so yeah. I went. I didn;t know anyone and there were a lot of kids with their parents which I thought was weird. then there were kids alone like me and other with their friends. We had a lot of presentations in a auditorium. The first person I talked to was a asian girl named Jenni. I think she was from chicago or used to live there. Bad memory have I. after the first presentation we got separated into small groups with our own leader. She was nice, our leader. the kids were ok. there was a kid from ohio that really sounds like he was gay... There was one chick from the bay area but i didn't chat with the people from my group very much. loner. eh, there was a black girl who was really nice and talked to everyone. Her name was Lauren I think. there were like 3 laurens in our group and one was a guy and one had her named spelled as Lauran. so yea... again bad memory have I. Our leader made us play theater games, like "I love my neighbor". at lunch I sat at basically the undeclared table since they had us separated by majors. I met another asian girl named Jia-lyn. She was thinking about going into Animation. Then Diego (another orientation leader) random sat at our table, which was cool because he was in the Cinematic school and he talked to us about when to apply and stuff. Our tabled ended up with a few kids who wanted to go to the cinema school just like me which was cool. Then three guys started to ask me about cali and earthquakes. they seemed concerned. One was named John i think. bad memory have I. then we went elsewhere again. oh yea we got to pick seminars to go to. I went to the Study Abroad one and then the Clubs one. Dinner was interesting. I sat with this girl and her mom. they were from georgia. the girl then left me alone with the mom. we talked. then the girl and mom's friend appeared and sat with us too. A boy and his dad. btw. The girl's name was Julian I believe and the boy's Alex. well they called me brave for being there by myself, no friends, no family. they were nice and a bit perky. but that's cool. um then more presentations. there was some really cool slam poetry and a skit by the orientation leaders which was funny. then we had our first pep rally. then we had a "social/dance/thingie" I met Mabel there. She's really nice and reminds me a bit of myself. first time eh maybe 2nd time i actually initiated the meeting. We talked and didn't dance and became friends and then we went to sleep.

uh i'll talk about day two later. that's enough for today. eee paulo got made at me for not walking him up to record stuff. I didn't notice when it started or that he was asleep Dx

Lateness, Cleaning, Stuff

wow I haven't been good to this blog huh. well not much has happened.

I'm still learning to drive. I get nervous and my sister gets nervous but I'm getting better. I've switched lanes. My turns are getting a bit better. I'm actually driving a bit faster. I'm the opposite of my brother. He drives right on the speed limit; I drive a bit under. But it's all well.

I'm on the last case of the 2nd Phoenix Wright game and I beat 8 Colossi in SC. Though I'm not doing too well with the ninth one though. I managed to flip it over but I have no idea where it's shiny spot is.

Right now, my house is in major clean up mode. My family is a family of pack rats. We keep things longer than we should and take forever to throw them away. Now we have to because my sister's moving back in at least for now so we need to make room for her stuff. I'm going through all my old toys and picking out what to donate and what to throw away. Damn I never realized how much Barbie stuff I have. Crazy. The good thing about all this cleaning is that I found the warranty for my digi-cam So I can go get it fixed now.

Lately I've seen two movies: Walle and Wanted. Both were entertaining. Walle was cute though a bit slow at first. Wanted was a bit more bloody than I thought it was gonna be but it was alright.

Man one bad news is that there's going to be a Tokio Hotel concert in SF at the Fillmore in August but it's on the 19th, the day right before move in day at USC, so I can't go because we're probably leaving on the 19th for LA. that sucks so bad. it couldn't be a few days earlier. I really wanted to take Lizzie but I guess we'll have to wait for the next one.

u i think that's it. i still haven't blogged about my orientation huh. will do that one of these days. oh yeah I wanna go to the beach again soon. ^^

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

...um I'm late for blogging this week. oh wells. I've been busy ^^ so this blog may be a little long.

On Monday, I went to the beach with a bunch of me friends. :P Cheche, Liz, Jojo, Coello, Emp, Mike and Kevin D. all went. My sister drove me and we picked Liz up. Jojo was there when we arrived and then Cheche arrived. Her family gave us two big blankets to lay on. then Coello and Emp arrived. Coello jumped off the wall for the first time that day. Then Che's dad brought us a bunch of food so we pigged out xD and saved some for Mike. We played in the water a little even though it was really cold. We just got our feet wet. There was a bulldozer that was fixing the sand by the wall and it kept coming closer to us but we never moved. Liz and me took a walk away from the group while we waited for Mike. We came back and he still wasn't there. Liz went to the water alone. Jojo Che and Me went after her and then Mike arrived with Kev D. We left Lizzie by the water since she didn't want to go. By the time she came back she was all pale we thought she was gonna pass out on us but she was ok. Then my digicam got busted from too much sand and now I have to find my warranty to get it fixed. Coello and Emp jumped off the wall a few more times and Mike chickened out but it was all good. I went back home to shower and then went to Che's house for our girl sleepover. The guys stopped by along with Jumar and took forever to leave. When they finally left we ordered a pizza and watched Knocked up. then we had some girl talk. very little. by the time we finished everything and tried to fall asleep it was past 4 in the morning xD.

So the next day we kept waking up and going back to sleep until around 12 i think when we all gave up and had some good breakfast. Laura and I finished our job Applications and took some random pictures in our pjs while Che and Liz went online and looked at "FAIL" stuff. We got dressed and went to turn in our applications at Serramonte. It was already past 3 by then. we met up with jumar and james there and turned everything in, then stopped by B&N for a bit before going back to Che's house. Che's dad drove the girls back while the boys had to take the bus. xD We started playing Mario Kart for the Wii. The other three used the GC controllers while I used the wheel. When the boys got there they kept making fun of my driving skills. ;-; meanies. then I went home around 7:40. uh I think that's it for tuesday.

On wednesday I drove for the last time at the cemeteries. My sister made me do a T/3-point turn which wasn't fun. I played some Wright. In the evening I went with my sister to a dance/workout class. It was fun. I was tired when I got home. that's about it besides playing with the pokemon app on facebook.

Today I woke up at 10. I went with my sister to the Farmer's Market and Trader Joe's since she needed to buy some veggies cuz she was cooking today. We were running late but she managed to finish cooking before my dad got home. it was good. then she made me go out practice driving again. This time we hit the streets. So scary. Dx My sister got scared that I was going to hit the parked cars cuz I drove a bit too close to them. :P We drove by San Bruno Mt. all the way to South City and then my sister drove back. So far so good. then we went to James' to celebrate my grandma's birthday. Only my dad, sister and I went. I played the drums on rockband with James then my sister sang a bit. When we got home, me mum was a bit bummed that me dadi didn't tell her we were going. My sister was upset that me mum wasn't too excited about the food she had made. My dad was a bit annoyed and insisted on driving my bro to work today. eh so some family drama today. always a little ifish with me mum and my dadi's family. i hate it. but anyways everyone seems to be ok now. tomorrow will be better and on Saturday we watch Walle. yay!

Orientation Part 1

So on Wednesday the 10th, I flew to LA for orientation. My mom took Bart with me to get to SFO and waited until I got past security before leaving. My plane was already 30 mins delayed but I had Wright to play so it was ok. I went to the bathroom and then to my gate. Then I found out they had switched my plane to another gate. luckily I had plenty of time and it wasn't that far away. I called Ani to tell her the plane was delayed and then played some DS. Then the guy at the plane said that the plane was gonna be a bit more. So ok fine. Then he said that there was something wrong with plane and he didn't know how long it was gonna take. He said that there was another plane people who had connections could switch to. Some 20mins later he just switched all of us to that plane. While in line to get my new ticket A Japanese family with two little kids were behind me and they kept talking in japanese. so kawaii! xD then before finally boarding the plane I was near a french family with a little girl and the little girl kept talking in french. awww so cute! xD So I finally boarded my plane at 12:45. It was scheduled for 11:35 -..-

My sister was waiting for me when I got there. We got my luggage and drove to long beach to get something to eat. We had some pizza (really good) and then met up with Lilly (Ani's friend) and watched Sex in the City the movie. After the movie we went to Lilly's and got ready for orientation.

That's it for today xD. I didn't even get to the orientation. oh well. I'll do that later I guess.

Sunday, Video Games

Not much to add from yesterday. I played some Shadow of the Colossus and I SUCK. Bad, but I helped Paulo beat the first Colossus even though I didn't beat it. I know how to do it, I just can't seem to do it. .\_/.So I started playing Ocarina instead. I finished the first part with the Deku Tree. That's about it.

I worked on the mix for the video project I want to start with all my buddies and lovable losers and ladies. For now the project is named "Red Balloons" totally inspired by the 99 red balloons song. xD The sooner I finish this mix I can get my friends to start filming. Wish me luck. Eh that's about it. I guess I can start a post about my orientation. xD

Job Hunting, Too Hot, Video Games

Ok, so posting everyday is not going so well. Every two-three days seems to be working though.

On Thursday I went job hunting with Laura at Serramonte. When I got there, there was a Farmer's Market and my sister was like "OOOOOOO, Farmer's Market." So we got some fruits before I went to meet with Laura in the food court. I missed her the first time around the court because I went in through the other doors. >.<>We entered every store that had a NOW HIRING sign minus Victoria Secret. Target and Mervyns' application were TOO LONG with all their personality questions. >.< But we got through them. We ate Burger King in between stores. Then we were joined in the Food Court by Mike, James, Jumar and Emp. We had some juice while the boys ate. We walked around Serramonte some more and then walked down to Metro mall. The whole time Jumar and Laura were having a poking war. xP We got some Apps at Bed, Bath and Beyond and then went to JoAnn's. Jumar and Emp made me and Laura get them apps too, but lady giving them would only give us one at a time. She got really annoyed at us since she only saw me and Laura asking because the boys retreated outside. Then we went to B&N and reserved Breaking Dawn for CheChe. We saw that Monica had reserved it too. We walked to Best Buy and then James, played some RockBand, then my sister picked me up and took Mike and Lala home too. WHen I got home I heard Chile won the Futbol game 3-2 and are getting close to classifying for the 2010 World Cup. yay!

Yesterday I stayed home and died from the heat. Too hot. Dx I spent the evening lying on the floor. That's about it.

Today was better. Not as hot. I finished Wright, and started playing Shadow of the Colossus... and I SUCK. So I got out the N64 and started Ocarina instead. Didn't play much though, had to eat. I got scared at first that I wouldn't be able to play though cuz the restart button was stuck but Paulo fixed it so yay. ^^

augh. I didn't blog about my orientation again. >.<

Driving Day 2, Check, Boredom

OK so far I'm getting bad at keeping this blog alive. xD

Nothing much has happened lately. On Tuesday my sister took me out for my second day at learning to drive. We went to the cemeteries again. Second day was better than the first. I wasn't as scared. Ani said we might do the cemeteries again once more and then take it to the streets. Nothing much else really happened on Tuesday. I started working on the music for a video project I wanna make this summer. I have to work on the mix still though :P.

On Wednesday, we went to the Bank of the West so I could get the money from the last scholarship I got from Jeff. It was $500. yay! So I deposited my check right away and then we went to pick up James to take him to do his Placement test for Skyline. We parked where we weren't supposed to apparently.There weren't any visible sign. We didn't get a ticket. The rest of the day I worked on cleaning my table a bit. Didn't go so well. Instead of being a mess it's now an organized mess. ^^;;

Well hopefully today will be more fun. I'm going job hunting with Laura in the morning and then back we'll go out to eat with Mike, Emp, and Liz.

Eh I was supposed to blog about my orientation in this post but I'll save that for next time.

Starting, Driving, Yesterday

Ok. So I'm bored, therefore since people seem to be blogging a lot and this will save me time from explaining my days to each person individually. Mostly I did this because in two months I'm off to college and I hope to keep up with this.

But ways lets start off with today:

This morning I went out with my sister for my first driving lesson. I learn that I am terrified of driving. >.< scares the living shit out of me. Dx, but I have to learn right? man.

Yesterday was fun. I had my family/friend graduation/james' birthday/father's day gathering day, though we didn't seem to celebrate Father's Day. xD some of my family was there, good friends were there. James was there of course, it was at his place after all. Emerson, Kevin C, Jumar, Mike, Lizzie, Che-Che, Laura and Nat went. Jojo was supposed to go but didn't show up like always. I tried to invite Angie but she never answered her phone. James of course made me invite most of our friends. We took over James' room while my family was in the kitchen or living room. It was cramped in there. My older cousins had to resign themselves to the living-room couch and watch the Lakers game. They usually stay in James' room and play video games. I swear it looked like they were sulking. xD My siblings and cousins made fun of me and James when we would go to the living room and leave our friends all alone in the bedroom.

So when we were driving to James' we saw Kevin and Emerson sitting outside the building. I don't know why they hadn't gone in yet. Anyways we went up to James' apartment when I see Jumar downstairs playing basketball with james. we went in to say hello and then Emerson and Kevin followed me down to get Jumar and James. My cousin Fabien was done too. so we went back up and started eating. Nat arrived and then Michael came. So while we were eating Laura called and I had to go down and open the door for her. I asked if anyone wanted to come with me and almost everyone said yes. On the way out of the room Jumar hit Mike's orange juice and it fell all over James' floor. we started cleaning a little with paper towels but I had to go open the door for Laura. So I left and then all the boys except James ran out following me, leaving Nat to clean the mess. Mike even left with his plate. My sister and cousins help Nat clean the mess. Later I went to open the door for Liz and Chen and I don't remember who but most of the crew followed me down again. Then we played some rockband and I could tell my cousins wanted to play but were embarrassed. Well Rolando played a little. Then while Chen and the boys played Call of Duty 4, Laura, liz and me played family feud on Lala's computer. it was God vs Laura and Laura won. Then Jumar started playing with us and it was God vs Jumar. God won. While Liz played on Lala's computer my feet were attacked by Jumar and Kevin. Yes I know I laugh/giggle like a little kid. -.- I look younger than I am, I guess I sound it too. Then the girls went home while the boys went to eat.
